MkCoin completes its expansion works

In 2016, MkCoin faced the challenge of obtaining more space in its facilities… the company had outgrown its premises.
After analyzing the situation, two options were considered: moving to a different industrial building or restructuring the existing one. After weighing the pros and cons, the decision was made to remain in the same location and carry out the necessary works to achieve greater space.
During the first phase of construction, the workshop and warehouse were expanded, completed in 2016. To achieve this, the company grew vertically by building a second floor with a surface area of 1,200 m². This allowed us to move the warehouse to the upper floor, relieving the manufacturing section and increasing storage capacity. Both floors were connected by a staircase and a lifting platform.
The second restructuring of the building began in June and was completed in September 2018. The objectives of this phase were:
To carry out works on the main floor of the building in order to relocate the technical office closer to the manufacturing area, optimizing the existing space and improving staff accessibility and workflow between both departments.
To connect the two office floors with the warehouse by installing an elevator.
Additionally, relocating the technical office to the ground floor resulted in a significant improvement in space for the sales and customer service departments.
Ultimately, these improvements have led to greater comfort in the company’s daily operations, which will undoubtedly be reflected in increased efficiency and productivity.
